Sometimes things don't feel like they're going right, like nothing is going right, and you want control.
You want to regain a sense of control because you feel like nothing's going right, nothing's going your way. If only this, if only that, I could just feel like things were working out for me.
Well, here's a bit of little tough love. Why can't you let things just be as they are? What if you let go of that sense of control, you can actually see what's going right in your life.
So, you can start out simple. Make a list of what's going right in your life,
Or, you can take a deeper dive, and you can truly work on letting go of that sense of control that you need and crave, because if only you had it all together, things would be so much better.
What if they are better right now? What if all you needed to do was take that time to let go of that need to always be in control and allow the flow of your life? What would that look like for you?
So, you can take this moment to just close your eyes if you're in a safe place to do so.
You can take a deep breath.
Feel what that need for control feels like in your body. Feel what's tense. Can you focus on the tension? Can you let go of a little bit of that tension?
Can you remind yourself that you're safe? Right here, right now, you're enough,
and life is enough.
And I know that's hard to hear right now when nothing's going right for you, but in this moment, where you're sitting right now, are you safe? Obviously you're safe enough to be reading this.
