You may have a challenge going in your life, and you have no clue how to solve it. It can seem like there's no way that things are ever gonna change.
What if it was OK to allow things to have a bit of space to unfold?
That can feel ridiculous, right? You may be thinking: Seriously? You're telling me to slow down. Just let things unfold. It'll all fall into place.
Yet, have your tried it?
You can start out simple with this technique. Just listen to your frustrations. Journal about your frustrations and challenges. You're still in that spot where you're not having a solution, but you're giving voice to your frustration. You're not trying to overcome it, push it aside.
You're actually sitting down and being with it. In doing so, you may find that it has some wisdom in it. I know this can all seem crazy. Who wants to listen to those challenging emotions, right?
Well, I do.
When I take that time, a challenging emotion fades away on its own. I found myself thinking: You know what? Things don't seem that bad.
When things don't seem that bad, we can see possibilities and solutions and they flow naturally.
This isn't totally just sitting back and going with the flow and hoping to God something works out for you, or just pops into your lap. This is about taking a slower pace to find resolution.
